Riding Holidays 

We are in the midst of relocating from Wiltshire to Somerset - so, for the time being, we are unable to take any more bookings for holidays and day rides -please checkback for an update when we have moved.

Would you like to come on a riding holiday with us and take some rides through the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire? Learn to ride the Tölt? Take some time out to look around Salisbury , shopping or visiting the cathedral?

Standard or Custom Holidays

Would you like a holiday which is purely hacking or one that contains a mixture of tuition and hacking in the local countryside? You can bring your own Icelandic horse if you have one, and both have a change of scenery or some tuition together!

Holidays of longer than three days may include some demonstration time or lessons in the sand school (depending on the size of the group), so that the horses can have a rest. If groups are small then this is not always necessary, though can be arranged if desired.

Groups or private riding

We like to take out groups of up to 6 riders, though larger groups may be considered for day rides according to the riding experience of the individuals and the availability of the horses.

Individual riding is also possible, though we must ask for a single person's supplement. If you are alone and would like to join other people for a holiday, please let us know and we will see what bookings are available.

How about this: The Icelandic Experience!

One day and one night, comprising:
Full day riding, light lunch at a local pub, traditional Icelandic evening meal of smoked lamb (wine and schnapps included), bunk house accommodation (including breakfast).
Morning ride can be arranged by request. (4 persons max).
