Von 

Von (meaning Hope) is sadly for sale.
She is tall (around 14.1hh), very beautiful, and proud. 10 years old this spring, she is four gaited with a very easy, natural and clean tölt (slow to fast speed). She is steady and brave, forward going but with excellent brakes. Easy to ride, on her own or with company (though she is still getting used to trees and bushes so is a little suspicious of those at the moment - after all, in Iceland trolls live in them). She was imported recently and travelled very well, settled in with the herd straight away and has been out and seen the traffic and such. We found a log in the woods and by the way she went into it and jumped it (with plenty to spare), I am sure she would make a profficient jumper. She is steady enough for the nervous rider, fun enough for the more experienced rider, her tölt is good enough for competition and in many respects the perfect horse.

Hamar 

Hammar is a black / dark brown gelding. He is around 13.1hh, 7 years old, and was imported by us at the same time as Vala and Nĉla (also for sale). He is not quite ready to go yet, as Smari would like to keep him a little longer to complete his training, but he will be for sale very soon. He is a lovely character, quite cuddly and nosey but not pushy. He is very easy to do and has been ridden out alone and with company in traffic and in the school (out and about) since he arrived and has not been bothered by anything. He has the potential to make someone a nice little compeition horse in the right hands, otherwise he would be just as happy not. He is also four gaited, with a very easy and open tölt.

Snuggur

Originally bred by Edda Hestar here in Pitton, Snuggur ia a big,strongly built eight year old five gaited black gelding. His current owners have had him for three years and are selling him in favour of another Edda Hestar Icelandic.
He is a stunning horse to look at with masses of mane, no sweet itch. 100% to catch, load, shoe, clip and in traffic. Straightforward ride but maybe not for a total novice. He has been to shows, clinics, group rides and demonstrations.

Galdur 

Galdur - British-bred black gelding with a little star, 13.1hh, born 2003, from excellent bloodlines.
Recently started and very promising, nice solid horse. Sensible, forward-going ride, easy tölt, good trot, nice action and self-carriage. Ready now to bring on. No sweet itch and a very sweet temperament. Good to catch, box, shoe etc etc.

Næla 

Næla (pronounced Nighla), a big (approx. 14.1hh) beatuful, leggy chestnut mare with a flaxen mane and tail and a blaze.   She is 7 years old but was only started last year as she got 'left behind' and her owner in Iceland just didn't have time to get around to her.   She started well under saddle and we imported her a few weeks ago and have continued her training.   She is coming along very well, and her tölt is opening up nicely.   She has a very nice 'big' trot and canter and she is 4 gaited.   She is proving to be quite a steady character and nothing seems to phase her.  She will be for sale as soon as we believe she is ready to go, or unless someone comes along and falls in love with her before then.

Oskabuska 

For sale on behalf of the owner. 13.2hh brown/black pretty mare, 5 gaited with a good walk and ground covering trot.
Regularly ridden out alone/in company. Can jump.
Not suitable for a novice rider. Has mild/occasional sweet itch.
